Movie: Out for Justice
Director: John Flynn
Year: 1991
This movie, Out for Justice, is one of those non-stop action packed movies. The very start of the movie begins with Bobby Lupo getting shot dead in the middle of the sidewalk by Drug Lord Richie Mandano who had been the enemy of Lupo and Lupo’s best friend Gino Felino. The rest of the film is a hunt for Mandano. Gino Felino is a New York police officer so he man handles the streets and goes looking for this Mandano guy. Every hang out, every street corner that Mandano is typically at or around is empty. Mandano confronts everyone that knows Felino and did whatever it took to get them to talk. He threatened, fought, etc. He was on a mission to find the man who killed his best friend.
In the very end, when the battle goes down, Felino starts shooting up in the common room where Mandano was at partying. This scene is sick!! He takes out just about everybody and then is confronted by Mandano himself. Felino puts down his gun and battles Mandano by hand. He punches, throws, twists, and kicks this guy. To finish him him, Mandano came at Felino with a wine bottle opener. Felino takes it from his hand and jabs him in the eye with it and says, “That was for Bobby.” I think this movie was great and developed the title very nicely. Gino Felino was out to get justice for his best friend Bobby Lupo, and he did just that!
