Directed by: Adrian Lyne
I really loved the shots in the movie "Indecent Proposal" that was probably the only thing I really favored about this film. The idea was good but the writing, in my opinion was very drawn out and it was kind of predictable for me what was going to happen. I just didn't think there was enough back-story to the characters. It kind of just jumped right into this couple's relationship and you really don't get to know much about them. Robert Redford once again plays a part much similar to his "Great Gatsby" role. With his on screen charm it was easy to see why he was cast for the role. The story starts with that whole "money can't buy love" feel but by the second half you end up confused because she is with the rich guy and as far as appearances go it certainly seems she's enjoying all that is the wealthy life. I didn't have a favorite scene for this film just because I didn't really enjoy it that much. I thought the best that was done was costume choices, there was three costume designers for this movie and one writer. I think that says a lot about were the importance went. Overall, I think it's all up to the viewer's interpretation as to whether or not this film is worthy of seeing.
