Lauren Potts Post-9 Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Dr: Steven Spielberg 1989

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Director:  Steven Spielberg

1989

Alright

Never watched the Indiana movies this one was okay.  Indiana is on the hunt to find his father who is searching for the Holy Grail Indiana must find and stop the Nazis.  The film opens up with a young Indiana as a Boy Scout spying on robbers taking a cross.  He manages to steel the cross from them but gets caught and the chase begins.  The chase goes on as Indiana rides on his horse to get away.  During the chase there were a lot of wide shots used to show the detail of the chase. Only when the robbers and Indiana were in tight spaces close-ups were used.

The movie jumps to a grown up Indiana when he receives notice of his father missing and the search begins to find him.  The music in the piece was nice it reminded me of Star Wars, when I was looking up the director I was George Lucas was writers it made sense.  There was some two shots used when one the Nazi’s has Dr. Elsa at gunpoint and there is one with Indiana Jones and her father Henry Jones as well.  One three shot I noticed is when Indiana and his are tied up and Dr. Elsa is in there talking to Indiana.  The spacing between on the actors was well done.

Being that I’m not an Indiana fan I thought the movie was good. I can finally say I saw at least one of them.
